Notes: All recognised courses in acupuncture and/or Chinese herbal medicine are approved by the Chinese Medicine Board of Australia for general registration in the Divisions of Acupuncture and/or
Chinese herbal medicine. Stand-alone courses in TCM Remedial Massage are at least 2 years full-time nominal duration. All applications for membership are considered on an individual basis. The
Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association Ltd reserves the right to request any applicant to undergo an accreditation assessment. From 2008, applicants for acupuncture and Chinese herbal
medicine practitioner membership of AACMA have been required to hold a recognised bachelor degree or equivalent professional qualification. For graduates of sub-degree programs, this may require the
completion of an AACMA approved degree conversion program or the AACMA entrance assessment. The Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association Ltd does not accept graduates of nonapproved courses offered substantially by correspondence/distance/external/on-line mode. AACMA will not accept graduates of any program where the supervised clinical practice components have not
been undertaken or where recognition of prior learning or an exemption for these components has been granted. 18 March 2013
