Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association

AACMA Research Centre

The AACMA Research Centre is an exclusive service available only to members of AACMA, providing members with access to and information on the current best available evidence in Chinese medicine.

It provides members with access to research from the last ten years on all facets of Chinese medicine practice – acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, body work such as An Mo Tui Na, gua sha, cupping, exercise therapies such as Tai Chi and Qi Gong, and Chinese dietetics.

The Research Centre allows members to search for clinical areas or conditions to find research and published evidence that has been searched and quality reviewed by the AACMA team of researchers. The reviewed evidence that is presented is clearly specified as to whether it is suitable for registered health care practitioners to use as advertising according to AHPRA Guidelines.

As a dynamic resource, the evidence in Chinese medicine is constantly being searched and reviewed by the AACMA researchers. Other forms of clinically related evidence published in peer-reviewed journals such as case studies will also be presented to provide members up to date resources to support their ongoing education and clinical decision making.
