Charles Buck, our second international keynote speaker for AACMAC 2019, has been practising, writing and presenting on Chinese medicine for over 30 years. He is a past president of the British Acupuncture Council and will share his extraordinary knowledge on how the Acupuncture and Chinese medicine classics can be used in our daily practice.
Charles will be presenting at the Australasian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Annual Conference (AACMAC) in Melbourne from 17 to 19 of May 2019 and in much more depth at the 3-hour pre-conference workshop.
AACMA is very honoured to be able to welcome Charles as the keynote presenter at the conference.
Charles’s career has spanned multiple disciplines including medical sciences and the theory, philosophy and practice of clinical oriental medicine. He has a particular interest in fertility, cancer patient care, and dermatology and for years he has taught these and other subjects extensively in the globe.
He is now working on various organisations including the Board of the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (UK) and Acupuncture Now Foundation, to raise awareness of the contribution professional TCM can make to healthcare today.
The pre-conference workshop with Charles is SOLD OUT. In this workshop participants will learn the skills needed to deliberately send the de-qi sensation along the jing-luo system. Practical sessions will be included to give participants the chance to review their general needling skills and to practice the specific techniques used in the PNS method with Charles’s guidance.
For those who miss Charles’s pre-conference workshop, sign up now for AACMAC 2019 – you can still stand the chance to join Charles for three lectures/workshops on different topics during the conference.
