AACMA is proud to announce its 18th Australasian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Annual Conference (AACMAC), which will take place from 18-20 May 2018 in Sydney.

The leading international convention in acupuncture and Chinese medicine will attract attendees from a worldwide community of experts, associates, academics and professionals in acupuncture and Chinese medicine – all of whom have our profession’s interest at heart and who wish to widen and spread its influence.

The confirmed international keynote speaker for AACMAC 2018 is Andrew Nugent-Head. Andrew moved to Taiwan in 1986 to study Chinese medicine, martial arts and internal cultivation. He formally began studying Chinese medicine in 1989, founding the Association for Traditional Studies (ATS) to preserve China’s traditional knowledge.

Andrew is a renowned Chinese medical practitioner, educator and martial artist. He is currently completing his medical doctorate in Zhejiang China. Andrew teaches at the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, and regularly travels to London, New York, Germany and Switzerland to teaching and consult on difficult cases.

Andrew will present his keynote presentation on The Nine Essential Needling Techniques and present a pre-conference workshop on Daosist Zangfu acupressure.

AACMAC 2018 will be held in the Holme Building, a historic venue in the heritage setting of the University of Sydney.

The Cocktail Party will be held on Friday 18 May 2018 on the first floor of this beautiful venue. It is complimentary for conference delegates and provides an enjoyable way to connect with your counterparts and to do some valuable networking.

A fun and casual Barbecue Night will be held on Saturday 19 May 2018. We would like to welcome our friends and colleagues to a night of entertainment and great food with plenty of fun in the lovely courtyard at the venue. This is one event not to be missed at an affordable price. Make sure you tick the Barbecue Night box on your registration form!
