WFAS 6th World Conference on Acupuncture - Gold Coast, Australia

Co-sponsored by the World Health Organization

The World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS) is the official Non-Government Organisation (NGO) advisor to the World Health Organisation (WHO).

WFAS World Conferences are convened every four years in conjunction with WFAS General Assemblies.  The purpose of these most prestigious events is to promote academic exchange, to develop the science and practice of acupuncture-moxibustion, and to strengthen the understanding and cooperation between acupuncture-moxibustion societies internationally.

The key to healthy living and optimum health today is empowerment through information and awareness of options and choices in available healthcare.  The 6th WFAS World Conference on Acupuncture - Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in the Modern Age - will explore the contribution that acupuncture and Chinese medicine offers for primary healthcare, all this in an environment of unprecedented natural beauty.

This is a unique opportunity for international networking between acupuncture and Chinese medicine practitioners and other healthcare providers and should not be missed.  The Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association Ltd (AACMA) cordially invites you to attend the 6th World Conference on Acupuncture at Australia's splendid Gold Coast from 29 to 31 October 2004.
