Australian Guidelines for Traditional Chinese Medicine Education

The National Academic Standards Committee for TCM (NASC) was established by AACMA in 1998 as an open consultative forum of the TCM profession to consult and advise on matters related to TCM educational standards.  In a project spanning three years (1998 - 2001) the NASC developed the Australian Guidelines for Traditional Chinese Medicine Education (the Guidelines).  The guidelines were published by AACMA on behalf of the NASC.  The NASC consultation process involved the active participation of all identifiable TCM education providers, most TCM professional associations and representation from government (QLD, NSW, VIC and SA).
