The Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association Ltd (AACMA) cordially invites you to attend Australasian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Annual Conference (AACMAC 2005) in Australia's second largest city, vibrant Melbourne, from 13 to 15 May 2005.

Following the outstanding success of the WFAS 2004 6th World Conference on Acupuncture at the Gold Coast in October 2004, AACMA has expanded the focus of its Annual Symposium to a regional academic event to encompass the Asia-Pacific region.  Fostering academic and professional networks within Australia as well as with our regional neighbours is an important factor in the long-term development and on-going sustainability of Traditional Chinese Medicine as an independent profession.

Academic conferences are important vehicles not only to promote academic exchange and to encourage debate and dialogue within the profession but also for the formation and development of friendships and networks between individual practitioners, academics and researchers.

Like WFAS 2004, AACMAC Melbourne 2005 hopes to recharge those tired professional batteries and reinvigorate the enthusiasm for the principles and practices of our chosen profession.  AACMAC 2005 is the peak national convention in 2005 for local and regional networking between acupuncture and Chinese medicine practitioners and should not be missed.
